I am a music therapist who loves tutoring and helping others. I specialize tutoring English, music, and writing, but I also tutor algebra, elementary math, middle school math, anatomy, reading, literature, psychology, social studies, religious studies, art, and a variety of other subjects. I'm also available to help students with their studying and organizational skills. Music is my passion, and I try to incorporate it into my teaching style wherever I can. I began pursuing my love of music at Florida State University, where I received my degree in Music Therapy. I decided to become a music therapist because I am enthusiastic about music and working with people. My experiences working with people of all different backgrounds as a music therapist helps me as a tutor. I like to meet with my students and discover what we have in common, using our similarities to more effectively engage with them and teach them. When I'm not working as a music therapist or helping students achieve their goals, I love to be outside. You'll likely find me going for a bike ride, a hike, or a run in my spare time. I also love to camp, cook, bake, and make arts and crafts.
